Jojo Ans



Jojo Ans was raised in Holmes, NY. She achieved her BFA in Photography, and then traveled throughout Europe and the U.S., spending extended periods photographing in the Dordogne, France and Northern New Mexico. She has received residency grants to The MacDowell Colony and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation.

Jojo also spent time in New York City as Partner and Manager of Suite A Photography Studio, formerly Richard Avedon’s private studio on the Upper East Side. She renovated the historic space to host shoots, as well as featured exhibitions and lectures.

Jojo’s photographs are included in collections at The MacDowell Colony and The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art.
